Monique Dukker

Dutch - born 1964

Monique Dukker is a Dutch multidisciplinary artist based in Haarlem whose work is deeply inspired by the rhythms, movement, and meditative quietness of nature. Working primarily in painting, photography, and video, Dukker explores the emotional essence of the natural world through her expressive brushwork, layered pigments, and a vibrant sensitivity to color and composition. She earned her BA in Fine Arts Education from Witte Lelie in Amsterdam and has balanced an extensive teaching career with longstanding artistic practice spanning more than three decades. Since the early 1990’s, her work has been exhibited widely throughout the Netherlands in institutions and galleries including the Vishal, Vleeshal Haarlem, Arti Amsterdam, Galerie Kunst Apart, and Galerie Stanza 251 in Florence. Her paintings are held in private and institutional collections, including the Provincial Government of North Holland.
